Fashion is expensive, Style isn't: 

Some of the most stylish girls I know are certainly not the wealthiest.  Ironically, it's ofter the girls with less money who seem to understand style the best.  Maybe it's because they are forced to be picky and can't slavishly follow the trends.  Maybe it's because they have perfected the art of mixing their more expensive items with their cheaper finds.  Or maybe it's because they know where to splurge and where to save.


Cheap Thrills:

  • White Hanest T-Shirts:  Laid back and great for mixing.  Best when taken from your boyfriend's or husband's drawer
  • L.L. Bean Tote:  Simple, chic, and functional
  • A White Button Up:  Will go with anything
  • Khaki Pants:  Perfectly classic. Just don't go pleated
  • Vintage Pieces:  Cheapest when taken from your mother's closet

What's the Difference Between Networking and Social Climbing? This is just my opinion, but there's not a lot of difference in the two.  Both take you out of your comfort zone and you have to talk to individuals you have never met, but if you do your introduction correctly then you aren't a social climber you are now a networker.  You may say that this fact isn't true, but I beg to differ with that.  People think a social climber should never be let into the elite circle of friends, but if that some person is networking then the elite will gladly welcome that same person into there circle because now this same person is worthy.  So, you see there's always a way of going up the social ladder without it being a negative in life.....
