This the time to carry out the fantasy of who you want to be or who you want to look like.  Wear bold colors, wear fabulous jewelry, wear anything that helps you make a statement and a grand entrance.  This kind of event requires that a man wear black tie attire, but this is the time for you to come out of the cocoon.  Don't be just another woman in a long black gown jazz your look up and be different.  You never want to blend in with everyone else be the one who sets the standards.

Dressy Casual

This means pants are okay but no jeans.  Fun tops are great but please don't wear T-shirt.  It's always great to know what kind of event you are going to and that will determine your outfit.

What's the Difference Between Networking and Social Climbing? This is just my opinion, but there's not a lot of difference in the two.  Both take you out of your comfort zone and you have to talk to individuals you have never met, but if you do your introduction correctly then you aren't a social climber you are now a networker.  You may say that this fact isn't true, but I beg to differ with that.  People think a social climber should never be let into the elite circle of friends, but if that some person is networking then the elite will gladly welcome that same person into there circle because now this same person is worthy.  So, you see there's always a way of going up the social ladder without it being a negative in life.....
