What Would You Do If Your Spouse Said They Where Gay?

Relationship

Okay, this is the situation and once I finish telling you the story please let me know how you feel or what you would do if this was you and your husband.

I was reading a blog of a pass employer and he announced to his wife of seventeen years and there seven kids that he was gay.  He said when they first met he knew that he had these feelings and he told her what he was feeling.  When he told her she told him that there was nothing that would change the way she felt about him.  The next day he went and purchased a ring and asked her to marry him and you said yes and they got  married.  Even with this secret hanging over there heads they decided to continue on with there lives.  Now, after all these years he decides to come out of the close and live his life as a gay man.

Now, my question is if you where in this situation "what would you do if your husband came home and told you this?"  I think this is a great subject and I can't wait to hear what you think about this situation..
"Would you stay with your husband, wife or partner if they told you they wanted to live as a gay person after 17 years?"

This isn't put down being gay this is all about how this situation went.  So, please don't think I'm talking bad about gay people...

Let me know what you think.......

The Trend for the Summer

Rompers
One Shoulder Ruffle Romper
Rompers are the new it thing for the summer and young women are wearing them everywhere.  Women of all ages and all sizes are wearing them but this shouldn't be the case.  Women if you're thinking about purchasing a Romper you have to make sure that your body type is made to wear it.  Rompers are great in my opinion for the slimmer women because they are made to look a little baggie.  They can be worn with sandals or heels they can be dressed up or down and still look great.  This is a trend that looks great no matter how you put it together.  If you are over the age of 40 you shouldn't have this outfit on it's not for the more mature women.  So, young women have fun with this trend and wear them well....

Relaxed vs. Natural Hair

Women are talking about it, tweeting about it, blogging about it. Frankly, I'm beginning to feel a that I missed the boat.  I spoke with a few friends about their new transitions to natural hair and they all rave about how great they now feel about their hair and they want me to started going though the change from Relaxed Hair to Natural Hair.

One of my girlfriend goes to the salon every week to get the treatment that makes her hair look like she has a relaxer, but she doesn't which makes me think that you can have both the look of relaxed hair and really it's natural.  This look is great for her because her hair looks so very healthy and it has grown so much.  She is truly happy with her look and I think it's great....

Then I have another girlfriend that is natural at all times and  she keeps her hair  loose and it also looks great on her.  Because she knows how to keep her hair together she always looks like she just walked out of a salon.

I'm more of the relaxed kind of girl and at this point it works for me because I don't have the courage at this time to go from relaxed to natural.  Maybe one day I will but until then I will just be the girlfriend with relaxed hair.  And let my wonderful girlfriends do the natural thing.

Tell me what you think about the difference between relaxed and natural hair?  Which side of the coin are you on? Let me know because I love talking with individuals who love talking about hair, makeup, and fashion....

Jewelry Wardrobe

"How To Add Some Shine and Know Which Pieces Suit You Best"
  • Avoid Matchy-Matchy:  Yes you want your pieces to complement each other and be of the same mood and level of formality.  But combining is now more of a personal statement and less about following the law of similar.
  • Make a Single Statement:  In general the more sparkle in your clothes, the less you need in your jewelry.  One outsize piece is often enough, and you should always watch the proximity of big or bold pieces.  Chandeliers and a cuff bracelet can work together, but chandeliers with a chunky necklace are too much, too close.

  • Consider the Shape of Your Face:  If your face is round, then round earrings (especially large ones that sit on the lobe) will only make cheeks look more full.  Instead, choose a dangling or drop earring.  Square faces look best with small, oval or oblong earrings; oval faces can wear just about any earring.
  • Make Your Necklace Work for Your Neck:  Long styles (chains, lariats, etc.) flatter those with short necks, broad shoulders or short torsos, whereas chokers are best for longer necks.
  • Find a Ring That Flatters Your Fingers:  The shape of a stone will determine how it looks on your hand, if you're conscious of your fingers being stubby, marquis shapes or ovals give the illusion of length and slenderness.

Friendship

"What does it mean to have a true Friendship?"

I was sitting having lunch with a couple of my girlfriends and I posted the question to them "What is true Friendship?" and each one of them had a view on the question...  One of them said that you can only have a few true friends because if you have a lot then those aren't truly true friends.  And what she meant was that you have all types of friends but you only have a couple of true friends.  Those are the ones you tell everything and you don't hold anything back.  They know the good, bad, and ugly about you and you're still friends.

My other girlfriend put it like this when you are true friends you can go through arguments and disagreements that are truly bad and you will still come out friends.  Those are the friends who are in your inner circle no matter what comes up in life you will always be friends.

In my opinion true friendship is being able to go through the ups and the downs whether problems about your family members or disagreements with either other and still say that's my friend and I will always have her back.  This is truly a friendship worth having and I thank God I have a few of those kind of friendships now.  This is a pic of me and my two of my true girlfriends.......

Tell me what you think true friendship is all about...I look forward to everyones comments....

Networking vs. Social Climbing

What's the Difference Between Networking and Social Climbing?

This is just my opinion, but there's not a lot of difference in the two.  Both take you out of your comfort zone and you have to talk to individuals you have never met, but if you do your introduction correctly then you aren't a social climber you are now a networker.  You may say that this fact isn't true, but I beg to differ with that.  People think a social climber should never be let into the elite circle of friends, but if that some person is networking then the elite will gladly welcome that same person into there circle because now this same person is worthy.  So, you see there's always a way of going up the social ladder without it being a negative in life.....
