Everyone has some degree of clutter lurking at home.  When you're tired of moving it around, stepping over it, and losing important items in it, it's time to take control of the clutter.   What should you do with it?   Do you see yourself in this window of clutter ?  Now, you can fix it... Style By Constantine, Clutter Removal Tips Dispose of It:  Much of clutter is trash you either thought you would need or figured you'd throw out later.     Put it Away:   About half of the remaining clutter in most homes consists of items that simply haven't been put away.  Fill a laundry basket then deliver the items to the proper rooms.  Avoid this trap by making things easy to put away and by enforcing a family "use it and put it away" rule. Increase your chances of selling your home quickly with this eight step solution: 1.  Ask a friend to help you de-clutter.  You're probably so used to your clutter that you don't see it anymore.  Ask an objective friend to help you pack up anything cluttering your home. 2.  Clear off countertops in the kitchen.  Think model home sparseness.  Display only a couple of decorative items or a plant.  Hide the trash can in a cabinet.  Clean off the refrigerator. 3.  Remove all photographs.  Buyers want to imagine living in your house.  That's hard to do with a wall filled with Aunt Martha and Little Johnny. 4.  Clean out your closets.  Make them look spacious even if you have to pack most of your clothing and store it elsewhere. 5.  Depersonalize your bathroom(s).  No matter how cute your toothbrush holder is, seeing someone's personal items is a turnoff.  Put them in a container and hide it under the sink. 6.  Pack knicknacks.  Buyers want to dream

Tossing the Bouquet and Garter

The traditions of tossing the bouquet and garter date back to the fourteenth century. As different as they seem today, they share the same roots.  Any piece of the bride's attire was considered lucky, so guests were eager to claim their own bit of good fortune.  Overeager well wishers would rush the bride to grab at her bouquet, so as to protect the bride from getting mauled, brides started to preemptively tossing their bouquet to the crowd. The garter probably came from the "bedding ceremony."  Guests would accompany the newlyweds to their bedchamber, and the groom's friends would try to remove the bride's garters.  To avoid being groped by a bunch of drunk men, brides began tossing their garters in their direction.  So, look out for those single women...

Use Matching Hangers: The uniformity will help your clothes hang nicely and save space.  To avoid snags you can use fabric or wood hangers. Don't Over stuff Your Closet: When you squeezed your clothes into a space it will take you at least 15 minutes more to find what you are looking for when you could be doing something else.  In addition to this your clothes will be totally wrinkled. How Best Buy Blew the Chance to Out-Apple Apple by  Robin Lewis What in the world was Best Buy thinking when they discontinued their Super D and Escape small store concepts several years ago? Designed as neighborhood boutiques, with Studio D for 30-45 year old soccer moms and other more tech-challenged consumers, and Escape for younger tech-savvy consumers, the strategy was to customize these stores for specific niche demographics and lifestyles. And had they continued, they would likely have expanded across a multitude of niches. Each was designed and imaged differently, with customized merchandising and service strategies, and all were highly educational and experiential.  Am I missing something here, folks? I don’t think so.  In fact, while making my public speaking rounds during those years, I declared Best Buy the poster child of brilliant preemptive distribution, localization and customized experiences (as I continue to preach from  my co-authored book ). They almost
